Science Intent Statement

At Hargate Primary School we aim to develop pupil’s interest and enjoyment of science. We want to give all children a strong understanding of the world around them whilst acquiring specific science skills and knowledge which will help them to think scientifically. Children will also observe, plan and carry out investigations across the curriculum and will be encouraged to question the world around them and become independent learners in exploring possible answers for their scientific based questions. All of this will prepare our children to enter a science and technology based future.
