Design & Technology Intent Statement 

At Hargate, we want to inspire children to be future designers,  engineers, architects and chefs through real life context.  Children  should be able to design, create and evaluate existing  designs, use critical thinking and creative problem solving to  support them in the wider world. Throughout the DT programme,  children should be able create a range of structure,  mechanisms, textiles and food products with a real life purpose.
