Art Intent Statement 

Art is a powerful form of communication that goes far beyond words and language. It can liberate the way pupils think, feel and act and enables personal expression, reflection, emotional development and increases their self-esteem. At Hargate, we want children to embrace the power and importance art has on both a personal and communal level. Our aim is to inspire children to explore and cherish its importance as a tool for creativity, an instrument for communication in addition to a medium for therapeutic relief.
